Boron nitride,chemical formula BN, chemical composition of 43.6% boron and 56.4% nitrogen, is an industrial ceramic material. BN has four different variants: hexagonal boron nitride (hBN), rhombohedron boron nitride (RBN), cubic boron nitride (CBN), and wurtzite boron nitride (WBN). Boron nitride is widely used in the fields of machinery, metallurgy, chemical industry, electronics, nuclear energy and aerospace.

Main Properties

Mechanical properties: non-abrasion, low wear,good lubricity,fire resistance and easy to process.

Electrical properties: excellent dielectric strength,low dielectric constant,low loss at high frequency, microwave penetration and good electrical insulation.

Thermal properties: high thermal conductivity,high heat capacity,low thermal expansion, thermal shock resistance,high temperature lubricity and stability.
